SECTION – A

  1. Name the cell of retina which respond to the intensity of light and colour of the object.

9. A 4 ohm resistance wire is doubled on it. Calculate the new resistance of the wire. OR

  2. What do you mean by magnetic field and field line? Write the three properties of magnetic field lines.

  3. With the help of a labeled diagram describe two common defects of vision in human eye with their main causes .What type of lenses are used in spectacles to correct their defects?

  4. Give reasons for the following:-

(ii) Na , K and Li are stored under Oil.

(iii) Aluminium is highly reactive, yet it is used to make utensils for cooking.

(iv) POP shold be kept in a moisture proff container.
